Warranty Terms

Subject to the Warranty Conditions and Exclusions stated in the Owner’s Manual, your ECO₂ Systems Heat Pump Water Heater System is warranted in a Residential application for domestic water heating as follows:

 

Domestic Water Heater

 

Heat Pump Unit

ECO₂ Systems warrants all parts and labor on the SANCO₂ system for a period of 3 years from date of installation and a further 7 years on Parts only excluding shipping costs. Labor costs are paid directly to the servicing contractor per the payment cost schedule published by ECO₂ Systems and revised from time to time at ECO₂ Systems' requirement.

Tank Unit

ECO₂ Systems warrants that the tank will be free from defects for 10 years at 100% replacement, and for a further 5 years under a pro-rated scale, culminating in warranty end after 15 years from date of installation. See details of Warranty Policy in the Installation Manual and Owner’s Manual.

Combined System

When used in combination for both domestic water heating and hydronic space heating.

 

Heat Pump Unit

ECO₂ Systems warrants all parts & labor on the SANCO₂ combi system for a period of 2 years from date of installation and a further 4 years on Parts only excluding shipping costs. Labor costs are paid directly to the servicing contractor per the payment cost schedule published by Eco2 Systems and revised from time to time at ECO₂ Systems’ requirement.

Tank Unit

ECO₂ Systems warrants that the tank will be free from defects for 10 years at 100% replacement, and for a further 5 years under a pro-rated scale, culminating in warranty end after 15 years from date of installation.

 

Outdoor Temperature / Heat Load Limits

When the SANCO₂ system is used as both a domestic water heater and a space heater, the winter average temperature must be above 27˚F. Heat load must be less than 8,000 BTUs/hour. See details of Warranty Policy in the Installation Manual and Owner’s Manual.
